FEEL REAL ESTATE!

Intervest Retail has a feel for …

… quality
Intervest Retail stands for qualitative real estate

Real estate is a long term investment for Intervest Retail. Good maintenance is therefore crucial. Technical audits allow our asset managers to set up a maintenance budget over several years. That way, our properties remain well maintained and their value is optimized.

… innovation
Intervest Retail stands for innovative asset management

Intervest Retail strives to upgrade its first generation retail parks so they are ready for retail demands of the future. Buildings get a new front and additional green areas are created. This kind of update is currently being executed at the Roosevelcentre in Vilvoorde and Intervest Retail is planning a similar upgrade in Ans.

… safety
Intervest Retail stands for safe real estate

Intervest Retail assists its tenants in providing a safe work environment to its employees.
As a service to our tenants, Intervest Retail has appointed a technical expert to check the fire safety of the buildings. Intervest Retail passes on his advice to the tenants so measures can be taken if necessary.
Other safety measures are also taken into consideration. Intervest Retail has also run an asbestos check on al buildings and proper measures have been implemented.

… environmental issues
Intervest Retail stands for an environmentally sound choice

Environmental concern is one of our priorities. Intervest Retail will always consider all environmental aspects. When choosing contractors, Intervest Retail gives the necessary attention to their environmental policy.

… urban planning
Intervest Retail stands for a proprietor with a vision

In close collaboration with the town councils, Intervest Retail looks for ways to enable ‘living above inner city shops’.
Empty floors are an unsightly view in inner cities. Often it is not possible to let these floors due to the lack of a separate entrance. Intervest Retail strives to create separate entrances where needed and to re-model empty floors into apartments. A good example is the building on the corner of the Leuvensestraat and the Nowélei in the centre of Vilvoorde. This building used to exist of three small shops and no activity on the upper floors. Intervest Retail has chosen to demolish these outdated and architecturally unattractive units and put up a large modern building with a commercial ground and first floor and 10 luxurious apartments on the upper floors.
Intervest Retail is currently working on a new project in the city centre of Mechelen. In collaboration with a developer, 19 lofts will be constructed on top of the existing shops and the whole building will get a new attractive front.

… needs of its tenants
Intervest Retail stands for worry-free renting

All of our tenants are in direct contact with our property department for any questions they might have or advice they might need. Intervest Retail will always look for a proper solution for any property-related issue that might arise.

… administrative simplification
Intervest Retail stands for progressive thinking

Intervest Retail is innovative in the field of electronic invoices.
Intervest Retail has encouraged its tenants to allow us to send our invoices digitally and over 95% has responded positively. Unnecessary paperwork and time-wasting both belong to the past.
